Superfly

This lightweight material with stretch is found in our Trotter series. The material is wind breaking and is versatile and flexible. For a quick drying "wicking" function, use Base Wash from Nikwax. If you want water resistance, wash with Nikwax Tech Wash and impregnate with Softshell Proof from Nikwax.

Certech®
Cellular Rubber Technology – the manufacturing technology behind Lundhags cellular rubber bottoms. Available in 2.0 to 5.0. The higher the number, the more stable or warmer the construction.

Its an elastomeric hydrophilic laminate bonded to a knitted outer.

Merino Wool.

Merino wool is much finer than traditional wool and has tiny overlapping scales that case each fibre. These scales are hydrophobic (water repellent). Inside its a different story, the fibre core is highly absorbent-hydrophilic.

Merino is there fore a wicking fibre and can absorb and release 10 times more moisture than synthetic. Each fibre can absorb up to one third of its own weight in moisture without feeling clammyor wet to touch. In sealskinz the moisture is then transported through the membrance to keep you feeling warm and dry.

 Merino wool has the ability to absorb and release moisture to cool or warm the feet, thus regulating temperature.

Coolmax.

A specially engineered fibre from Dupont which transports perspiration away from the skin towards the waterproof breathable membrance. The uniquely shaped fibresprovide great breathability, even when wet, helping you to stay dry in all conditions.

Primaloft.

Primaloft insulation wasorginally developed under contractfor the US Army as a replacement for down because down absorbs water and loses its insulating properties when wet. The light weight and soft primaloft insulation core creates millions of air spaces supended in the mircofibre mesh. Even when forced into the primaloft core,water is rerpelled and not absorbed by the patented microfibre structure,so primaloft keeps you warm even in wet conditions.

Kevlar.

Is an advanced technology from Dupont that combins high strenght with light weight, and comfort with protection. Its 5 times stronger than steel on an equal basis, yet at the same time is lightweight, flexible and comfortable. Provides excellent cut, abrasion and tear resistance.
